Cocoguru Coconut Industries Private Limited is a manufacturer of pure coconut oil. Different varieties of coconut oil, like roasted, cold press and virgin, are made. They are packed in convenient small consumer packs like pouches, bottles and cans for the purpose of using as edible oil and hair oil. Manufactured in a modernised unit at Puttur, it is available at all over coastal Karnataka districts of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Chikkamagaluru and Kodagu. In Bengaluru, Cocoguru coconut oil is available at Mangaluru Stores. Products are available all over India on leading e-commerce portals like Amazon, JioMart, and Flipkart. The company was formed with the vision to spread the benefits of coconut to people, and it has come a long way with still a long way to go.
To promote the use of coconut oil for cooking and provide healthy, local delicacies freshly and hygienically prepared, a Vegetarian restaurant was started at Puttur in 2023. Cocoguru also foresaw the manufacture of coconut oil-fried snacks like Chips.

Managing Director’s Profile
Keshava Ram Bonanthaya, 42, started Cocoguru 14 years ago with his family. He graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from SJCE, Mysuru, and an MBA in Marketing from NMIMS, Mumbai. He worked briefly for 4 years as a Software Engineer at Tata Elxsi, Bengaluru. He is married to Suprabha and has 2 children: a daughter, Kshipra, and a son, Kshiteesha. Apart from work, he follows Test Cricket, plays badminton and chess, and enjoys spending time with family and nature.
